Overview
Purpose
My purpose for making this website is to make a neat and organized Website that promotes the imaginary business of a white water rafting company. This website is supposed to incorporate my love for adventure in nature. I like to go camping and hiking and I love the atmosphere of the mountains. I want many imaginary people to come to this white water rafting company to make my imaginary employees and myself a lot of money. I want the customers to know that the rafting business is safe and we will take good care of them while they come and have a great adventure with their friends. Or just by themselves we will offer several options for solo and group riders.
Audience
My target audience is everybody. I wish to specifically address the age groups of young adult and teenagers thinking of date ideas. I specifically want to address the elderly by explaining how safe it is and you can still enjoy a good time where there will be many people with you who can help you paddle and the instructor will know how to help your every need. Along with easier sections of the river that they can go on in case they desire that option. I want teenagers with little money to come in large groups. I will have deals for couples, groups of 4 and then a certain deal (10% off for each person who invites a friend). They want a cheap adventure. One that can be easily planned for kids who just want to go out on a whim to have fun. Then I want something that older couples can join their Grandkids on. They want a safe comfortable ride for the Elderly. But still fun. Teenagers want a cheap easy to plan date idea. They will usually access my site by phone, and desktop.

Typography
Heading Font: Bungee Inline
I really like the look. It makes it feel friendly and can still have a "nature vibe that I hope to portray on the website."
Paragraph Font: Roboto
I like how it looks. It is readable. I think that the older generation and teens can read it.
Normal paragraph example

Navigation
Site Map
The Site Map of a site is just like it sounds…it is a map of the pages in a site and how they are related and linked together. From the map above we can see that we will eventually have the Home page and 2 sub or child pages.
The lines that connect them all together indicate that each page should be accessible from any other page, it is essentially showing us the global navigation for the site.
Wireframes
Wireframes are like blueprints for making webpages. They should show the major sections of content that will be on the page and the relative locations of each element. In the wireframe below you can see there will be 6 sections to our page:
- At the top we have a section with the logo (the box with the mountain means an image) and the navigation bar.
- Then there is a banner image that stretches all the way across the screen.
- Next we have some text and an image
- ...followed by another row made up of an image and some text.
- Then one more section of text with no image.
- Lastly, a footer containing a copyright/name line and 3 social media icons.
